Description:
These duties are a representative example; position assignments may vary depending on the business needs of the department and organization. This position:
- Undertakes clerical duties such as answering emails and drafting candidate communications.
- Responsible for resume screening and scheduling initial phone screens.
- Schedules interviews and coordination for assigned hiring team and candidates.
- Conducts online initial background search for selected candidates.
- Calls candidates to communicate status of their position in the recruitment, for example whether or not they are moving forward to second round interviews.
- Prepares candidate summaries.
- Maintains candidate notes in Applicant Pool.
- Supports Recruiter & Project Manager during the facilitation of interviews.
- Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in administrative support and/or recruiting support to perform the job effectively
- Good driving record and a valid Oregon Driver's License.
- Public sector experience is not required but highly desirable.
