Description:

These duties are a representative example; position assignments may vary depending on the business needs of the department and organization. This position:

  • Undertakes clerical duties such as answering emails and drafting candidate communications.
  • Responsible for resume screening and scheduling initial phone screens.
  • Schedules interviews and coordination for assigned hiring team and candidates.
  • Conducts online initial background search for selected candidates.
  • Calls candidates to communicate status of their position in the recruitment, for example whether or not they are moving forward to second round interviews.
  • Prepares candidate summaries.
  • Maintains candidate notes in Applicant Pool.
  • Supports Recruiter & Project Manager during the facilitation of interviews.
  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

 

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in administrative support and/or recruiting support to perform the job effectively
  • Good driving record and a valid Oregon Driver's License.
  • Public sector experience is not required but highly desirable.
