Description:

We are seeking a professional like you to work with the OEM Sales Manager and OEM Account Managers to implement specific market growth strategies at domestic and trans-national OEMs that will result in new business growth for the Performance Materials business. This includes prioritizing application innovations, coordinating technical development activities, and providing key input for OEM growth strategies that will lead to above average market growth for the Performance Materials (PM) transportation business.

  • Monitoring OEM industry trends relative to new legislative, technological, and organizational changes.
  • Identifying and communicating Ford and marketing needs for new products, applications, and/or services.
  • Providing leads and account direction for sales team members.
  • Assisting and identifying in the development and closure of new business targets with Marketing, Sales, and Application Development teams.
  • Providing support for internal communications, press releases, brochures, product/application profiles, and web content.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

  • Education in a technical discipline and experience in Marketing, Sales, or New Business Development.
  • Strong organizational skills, strong written communication skills and out of the box thinking will be essential.
  • Technical knowledge and professional network.
