Description:
We need a consultant who has both .NET and Workday experience along with State Department Exp.
Client is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support one of their projects aimed at modernizing administrative business functions related to finance, procurement, budget, human resources, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis, design, and development of changes to align financial systems with the Foundation Data Model (FDM), including modifications to legacy chart of account (COA) formats.
- Make changes to computer programs, databases, user interfaces, integrations, and reporting for FDM compliance.
- Work with teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with business processes and system architecture.
- Perform necessary data migration/conversion, update SSIS packages, and ensure smooth transitions to the FDM.
- Engage in One Washington’s end-to-end test cycle, bug fixes, and support for One Washington go-live/stabilization.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum six years of experience with software development using .NET framework, C#, SQL, WPF, and WCF to modify and enhance existing financial applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including SSRS and SSIS for data reporting and integration processes.
- Experience working with complex financial systems and knowledge of accounting principles, with specific exposure to Workday’s Foundation Data Model (FDM) or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, integrations, and exchanges between disparate systems using SSIS or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency in UI technologies, specifically WPF, to modify user interfaces in line with new data models.
- Expertise in designing, modifying, and deploying financial reports using SSRS, ensuring alignment with new FDM structures.
