Leadership Skills
- Develop and implement the annual Brokerage Strategic Plan
- Monitor acceptable performance criteria, that is measurable, to be used to evaluate new and existing relationships. (scorecards) and set direction for the team regarding this measure
- Leads overall productivity improvement initiatives
- Responsible for developing and executing channel sales plan that provides the support and training activities necessary to achieve and exceed sales targets. Set sales and activity targets for team and measure for attribution.
Productivity Management
- Develops and coordinates multi-product strategic relationships with principals and management personnel of agencies.
- Leverages Corebridge senior management appropriately to further enhance the partnership between Corebridge and distribution partners.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of Corebridge products and their positioning against the competition.
- Continuously analyze relationships to assess market changes or trends, personnel changes or relationship needs, and provide input for potential revisions with business plan (visits, trainings, etc.) accordingly with sales team
- Identifies opportunities to introduce other Corebridge products into the broader relationship
Reporting and Analysis
- Maintains extensive working knowledge of prospective relationships including total product sales, competitive information, systems, platforms, key initiatives, trends etc.
- Compiles and maintains timely information on activities with firms as to how they match up with business plans.
- Maintain industry contacts, information and insights to actively lead targeted recruiting lists.
- Prepares quarterly activity reports for senior management showing highlights of the quarter and where we sit with relationship to goals.
Administration and Communication
- Partner with finance to develop annual sales plan and compensation plan. Includes review and signoff of SIC payments
- Develops and manages relationships with Corebridge personnel in Distribution, Marketing, Product, Underwriting and other key departments of Corebridge business units.
- Liaison between Corebridge personnel for operations, underwriting, service, and product management

- Expert knowledge of independent life distribution and brokerage market
- Demonstrated track record of business development focus, sales growth/leadership and analytical skills to review activity/results and adjust tactics
- Experience leading and directing sales teams
- Excellent listening, written, oral and webinar presentation skills.
- Outstanding self-sufficiency and problem-solving aptitudes.
- Sound discretion and judgment abilities.
- Strong listening skills.
- Excellent understanding of technology and savviness of electronic application submission platforms
- Demonstrated track record of problem-solving and adaptability
- State Life & Health License
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must demonstrate prior accomplishments in external sales, recruiting or account management with a minimum of 5 years of external client-facing experience
- Extensive travel required.
