Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and secure new customers, with a strong focus on expanding the brokerage division.
- Develop and nurture lasting relationships with shippers, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
- Negotiate competitive pricing and contracts, aligning with profitability goals while delivering customer value.
- Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
- Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage pipeline, and measure performance.
- Stay current on market trends, customer needs, and industry changes to identify new business opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities while managing an efficient sales cycle.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in freight brokerage or transportation sales (strong sales background required, freight experience a plus).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
