National Sales Executive

We are partnering with a leading transportation and logistics company to find a results-driven National Sales Executive. This role will focus on driving new business growth, establishing strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s brokerage division.

his is a remote position in the Southeast.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure new customers, with a strong focus on expanding the brokerage division.
  • Develop and nurture lasting relationships with shippers, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing and contracts, aligning with profitability goals while delivering customer value.
  • Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
  • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage pipeline, and measure performance.
  • Stay current on market trends, customer needs, and industry changes to identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities while managing an efficient sales cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in freight brokerage or transportation sales (strong sales background required, freight experience a plus).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Resilience and determination - able to thrive in a competitive and fast-moving industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
