National Director Of Business Development

In this role, the Director of Business Development will become the trusted resource within our customer teams to partner on existing projects and work their internal network to expand our relationship. This will be done through active client engagement, face to face meetings, monthly and or quarterly business reviews and overall partnership development. This role will work very closely with our operational partners to collaborate on upcoming opportunities and solution design with our internal teams on the best approach for our client.

This role will be tasked with maintaining our existing client relationships and further expanding upon the work we do with those brands. We expect in this role the Director of Business Development to become intimately familiar with our client’s brand, their organization, culture, future plans and overall marketplace. Leveraging that knowledge to facilitate future opportunity meetings, this position will play a critical in our continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business.
  • Creating awareness and buyer needs.
  • Supporting development of sales strategy to achieve defined targets.
  • Reporting out activities to management/key stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain existing revenue.
  • Generate profitable growth within assigned National Account(s).
  • Analyzing customer-specific and market trends & needs to uncover new opportunities.
  • Develop strong client relationships through in person meetings and entertainment.
  • Accurately forecast monthly financial revenue for assigned customers.
  • Regular business reviews and working internally with our teams to build overall customer strategy.

Job Attributes

  • Work closely with our internal teams including sales, operations, finance, and marketing.
  • The role will have direct responsibilities.
  • Partner with our Operational Project Management & Business Units Leaders to develop selling initiatives & client needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience prospecting and closing new business preferred.
  • High level of analytical capability, organization, time management & attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of/experience with Project Management, Facility Maintenance and or Construction Projects ideal.
  • Experience managing relationships and driving strategic new programs to fruition.
  • Customer & team centric approach.
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
