- Coordinate the planning, design, construction, and installation of exhibits at main museum and at lighthouse museum site.
- Under the direction of the Museum Director, or his/her designee, prepare accurate exhibition budgets and itemized materials cost and professional services cost.
- Adhering to established statutory regulations and/or County procedures, select and oversee the work of outside exhibit contractors as required and in accordance with scope of services agreements.
- Maintain, move and store exhibit components and props, and other museum related objects
- In conjunction with museum collections manager, coordinate and maintain the proper storage and associated environmental controls for collection areas.
- Monitor Museum exhibition, approve expenditures within limits of designed budget authority, meet with vendors and order exhibition and building supplies.
- Maintain workshop area, equipment and supplies inventory and repair and maintain power and hand tools.
- Participate in development of longer range facility plans which may include construction and remodel projects.
- Coordinate the set-up, take-down and clean up for meetings, demonstrations and special events. Determine and coordinate the custodial duties of assigned facility custodian
- Request (submit digital work orders) and coordinate the assistance of the Building Facilities Department as needed.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities required, will be considered. however, the following is preferred:
- Five years progressively responsible work experience in building construction, fine carpentry, theater set building, interior design & construction, retail environment construction.
