The Sr. Graphics and Multimedia Designer role demands an advanced level of expertise in the creation and execution of conceptual artwork, requiring a comprehensive understanding in a specialized field or a broad range of knowledge and skills in their job discipline. The individual will be responsible for crafting a broad spectrum of customer-centric marketing collateral, which includes everything from advertising and promotional materials to trade show visuals and graphics. Integral to this role is the creation of product labeling and packaging graphics for new products and strategic initiatives, ensuring that Integra meets all regulatory requirements.
Applying analytical, technical and problem-solving skills, the Sr. Designer works independently, liaising with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to develop highly engaging creative concepts that deliver against project requirements and specifications while resolving complex problems or non-standard situations. This role also has a significant managerial component, overseeing the process for marketing collateral printing. Key responsibilities include cultivating a productive relationship with our external print supplier, providing direction on all print projects to ensure alignment with defined requirements and specifications, and leading efforts to streamline the overall print purchasing and invoicing process. This strategic management is essential to optimizing our annual $1 million spend.
Operating with minimal managerial supervision, the role requires a self-driven approach to meet departmental goals and strategic objectives.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Leads the department by providing mentorship and professional development to junior team members, in addition to reviewing and providing feedback on artwork designs. Assumes the responsibilities of the Graphics Manager during their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of department operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a senior-level professional with advanced knowledge and experience, lead the development, management, and execution of graphic designs for marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and product labeling/packaging from conceptualization to final delivery. Review draft artworks from junior designers, providing constructive feedback to nurture their development and improve the quality of final outputs. Establish comprehensive branding guidelines and templates, ensuring design consistency across all team projects. Independently collaborate with commercial marketing teams to define project requirements, review initial concepts, finalize design artwork, and execute projects within agreed timelines. Conceptualize and craft original and unique designs and illustrations that resonate with our brand ethos. Ensure that trade show graphics and other key customer-facing deliverables are expertly produced and executed, enhancing brand presence at major events. Oversee and optimize the end-to-end process for marketing collateral printing and invoicing, managing complex processes to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Design a diverse range of graphics including infographics, illustrations, advertisements, sales brochures, trade show visuals, and digital designs for websites and social media. Deliver high-impact video and photo projects that support company and commercial team objectives. Create and maintain a comprehensive graphic image and photo database, ensuring efficient retrieval and usage. Proactively seek opportunities to optimize design quality and streamline team processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and manage project timelines, making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality deliverables are completed on time.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.
Educational Requirement: A BFA in Graphic Design/Digital Media or a related field.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field.
Technical Skills: Expertise in pre-press/pre-flight print production processes, including asset packaging, color builds, bleeds, and pagination. Proficiency in typography, formatting, and character/paragraph styles is a must.
Software Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe CS Suite, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and After Effects, as well as Final Cut Pro. Proficient in using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
System Proficiency: Highly adept at using Mac OSX platform, software, and hardware.
Font Management: Proficient in font management software such as Extensis Suitcase Fusion, Adobe Typekit, and Font Explorer X.
Attention to Detail: Possesses a strong attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality in all work outputs.
Multi-tasking: Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Creative Abilities: Strong creative design capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
