Mts Integration Engineering

GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 8 is seeking an experienced process integration engineer to work in the 300mm technology development team. The successful candidate core responsibilities lie in the development of Back-end-of-line (BEOL), customer engagement and maturing the process into manufacturing.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing/qualifying silicon photonics Back-end-of-line (BEOL) process flows and process integrations to enable meeting the product requirements for performance, reliability, and defect free manufacturing.

• Ensure methods and processes in place to test the devices and structures being developed.

• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed.

• Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.

• Responsible to freeze developed processes in preparation for manufacturing and drive technology cost reduction & process convergence.

• Customer engagement through reporting of issues, status, and milestones

• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.

• Develop and improves test structures to enable fast and rigorous characterization of process.

• Lead cross functional teams to resolve technical issues.

• Perform project management and reporting to management.

• Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
   

Required Qualifications:

• PHD's/Master/Degree with 6+ years of working experience in relevant field. Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline.

• Experience in Si photonics preferred

• Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written

• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
