Mobile Engineer

Description:

As a Mobile Engineer you will work with a highly skilled team of engineers to deliver a highly reliable, quality mobile app. In this role, you will work closely with our team of designers, developers, and product managers to create and iterate on new features. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Flutter and Dart. You’ll also be comfortable using cloud technologies like Azure or AWS services, open-source frameworks, and Agile practices.

Our engineers will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the mobile app aimed at a wide range of audiences. Highly focused on developing a user-friendly app compatible with iOS and Android. Able to work effectively with other development team members and have a strong understanding of how app development works.

In addition, our Lead engineer will provide leadership and initiative in the overall coordination of design, development, troubleshooting and debugging complex software programs for enhancements and new features. Responsible for highly complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Highly focused on developing a user-friendly app compatible with iOS and Android. Coaches others in less senior positions.

What You’ll Do:
 

• Design and develop a scalable, user-friendly app.
• Ensuring apps are compatible with multiple platforms.
• Coordinating with other team members during the application development process.
• Identifying and resolving software defects.
• Providing support and maintenance for applications.
   

What You’ll Know:
 

• Experience with Dart, Flutter, and/or React Native.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of how app development works.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile methodology.
   

Skills Considered a Plus:
 

• 3-5 years experience with mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Swift) is a plus.
• Experience in developing the microservices for APIs and Integrate UI with JSON APIs and other distributed systems.
