Military Planner

Description:

We are currently seeking a Jr. - Mid. Level Planner to join our growing Federal Planning team in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will collect, assimilate, develop, and manage facilities/land use planning, landscape design, and mission requirements-related data for military and other federal clients worldwide. The successful candidate will also participate in the development of constraints mapping and documentation development in support of regional, urban, and military installation design.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Planning, Engineering, Architecture or Design
• 0-3 years of related experience
• Knowledge of: Contract and task order management, project delivery, and client relationship management; Federal contracting and procurement process and procedure; Planning requirements for federal facilities including DoD and non-DoD Federal agencies; Facilities design criteria

Required Skills:

• Effective written and oral communication skills are critical
• Acrobat or Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Software proficiency
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work with people and strong presentation skills required
• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize activities and meet deadlines
