Description:
Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
- This individual will be responsible for supporting Mobility, Survivability & Mechanical Design Engineers with the operation and maintenance of multiple labs including Airflow, Hydraulics, Dyno and others
- Ability to operate the lab(s) independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Ensure overall lab readiness
- Assist Engineers with developing test plans and requirements
- Procurement and tracking of engineering material, including hardware disposition
- Maintain function of calibrated equipment
- Perform maintenance and repairs on various components
- Coordinate with external vendors for service & capital upgrades
- Develop and maintain lab activity schedules
- Maintain lab inventory and storage solutions
- Ensure compliance to Health & Safety regulations
- Prepare summary reports in accordance with internal department standards
- Coordinate with supporting functions as required
- Communicate results to management and customers as required
- Interface with design engineers throughout the development process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications / What you must have
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- Degree requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Prior experience testing & troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Prior experience on military vehicle systems is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
