Mechanical & Electrical Assembler

Description:

Summit Technology Services is hiring an Assembler for a contract position at SVI (Smart Valve Interface) in Deer Park, TX. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling small mechanical components and electronic modules while following internal SVI procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble small mechanical components and electronic modules in multiple stages.

• Perform testing procedures to ensure proper unit functionality.

• Work under direct supervision and adhere to assembly station guidelines.

• Follow production plans and internal SVI procedures for assembly.

• Use mechanical tools for electrical component assembly and equipment testing.

• Identify and correct errors with supervisor guidance.

• Maintain quality control throughout the assembly process.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical and electrical assembly skills (training provided).

• Ability to follow detailed assembly procedures.

• Comfortable working in a structured and repetitive environment.

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and supervisors.

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
