KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the development and implementation of the annual and long-term strategies for the Office & Institutional, Hospitality & Travel, and Retail & Entertainment segments.
  • Lead the development of a robust segmentation and portfolio analysis for the Office & Institutional, Hospitality & Travel, and Retail & Entertainment segments that clearly identifies opportunity spaces (with rationale/relevance), recommended portfolio adjustments, innovation needed and communication goals.
  • Understand the needs of end users and help the organization identify, prioritize, and provide solutions to those needs via in-market and customer experience.
  • Mine and analyze data and coach and develop the team to do the same, to generate key insights that will enable the sales organization to be confident engaging end users and providing solutions to the problems they have.
  • Play a major role in developing an overall pricing architecture/philosophy for our products.
  • Work with relevant cross functional partners to manage the product portfolio overall and the entire product life cycle including new product introductions, SKU rationalization or transition, portfolio enhancements, forecasting, etc.
  • Manage the design and delivery of sales training plans and materials.
  • Work closely with global peers to ensure that we are capturing all opportunities to drive synergies and efficiencies collectively.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to three direct reports. Ensure we have a clear, simple articulation of our value prop in the Office & Institutional, Hospitality & Travel, and Retail & Entertainment segments.
  • Drive our product innovation process (NPD and EPD) to include clear assessments of where we have gaps in our current portfolio relative to end user needs, build succinct, well defined scoping documents to clearly define the need(s) and assist in shepherding the project(s) through the process to launch.
  • Work with Communications and Lead Generation to:
    • Ensure we have the proper support materials, approvals, and messaging to effectively communicate product relevance/value prop to the market overall.
    • Create/develop literature, in line with approved claims and messaging overall.
    • Identify, prioritize, and align on the communication mediums of choice.
    • Ensure all appropriate stakeholders are aware of any portfolio changes.
    • Ensure customer acquisition and retention initiatives are optimized.
  • Work closely with global peers to ensure that we are capturing all opportunities to drive synergies and efficiencies collectively.
  • Build strong, diverse teams via ability to identify, assess, coach, develop and promote talent.
  • Act as a role model for the team, managing with integrity and respect.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • 5 + years Marketing experience with a tangible product
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
