The Marketing Science team is responsible for interpreting the performance of advertising on our platform. We work with advertisers to optimize their activity on the platform and build meaningful connections that help drive behavior change.

 

TikTok is seeking an experienced operator to work with Marketing Science. The role will span a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Oversee Marketing Science-related initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership
  • Assist and communicate with the research team's cross-functional leaders in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity tracking research publications, and team's participation in industry events
  • Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and regional leaders, performing an array of administrative tasks from managing calendars, aligning around deadlines & deliverables, generating correspondence, and planning & coordinating meetings
  • Build and develop relationships with all key cross-functional partners (Product, Partnership, GBM) for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with leaders on special projects
  • Serve as a project-level subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, and senior leaders, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a related field, preferably project/program management, business strategy, operations strategy, etc.
  • Understanding of key measurement solutions (Brand Lift studies, conversion lift studies, store traffic etc.)
  • Proven experience organizing and aligning multiple teams and departments and working with senior leadership
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional and global role, and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Extremely organized, versatile, and dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives across teams and regions
