Description:
McDonald’s Marketing Measurement & Optimization team is seeking a Marketing Analyst to support data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on analyzing media performance, marketing effectiveness, and consumer insights to optimize strategies for the US market. The analyst will work closely with teams across Marketing, Business Insights, Menu Innovation, Supply Chain, Digital, and Operations to drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
📊 Marketing & Media Analytics
- Maintain monthly and quarterly marketing media measurement reports.
- Develop Local Marketing Scorecards to evaluate marketing performance at a regional level.
- Track and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives & paid media testing.
🛠 Data Analysis & Insights
- Conduct quality control checks on data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies in marketing and media data.
- Utilize data visualization tools (Tableau, SQL, Excel) to create insightful presentations.
- Support broader marketing mix modeling and CRM measurement projects.
🤝 Collaboration & Strategy Support
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Digital, and Business Insights teams.
- Assist in presentation preparation and stakeholder communication.
- Help develop data-driven marketing strategies that improve customer engagement and revenue growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, media buying, business analytics, or finance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing (Master’s preferred).
✅ Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools.
- Experience in marketing performance measurement & media analytics.
- Strong data storytelling and visualization skills to communicate insights.
✅ Soft Skills & Mindset:
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) for presenting data-driven narratives.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities.
