Description:
The Sr. Manager, Marketing for Radiometer America, Inc. (RAME) is responsible for developing marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) as well as in leading, establishing, enhancing, and distinguishing product placement within the competitive arena. This role develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace and oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, identifies customer needs and establishes pricing strategies. In addition, this role will collaborate with service, manufacturing, sales, and clinical affairs to develop new products or improve existing product(s) or product line(s).
This is a remote based position.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Increase market growth by developing and leading integrated marketing and sales programs.
- Develop business area mastery to include market modelling, analysis of key metrics that define success, forecasting across sales and product management, market surveys, customer trends, competition, critical customer success factors and needs through interaction with customers.
- Plan, develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing programs to increase brand awareness, increase market penetration, and achieve revenue targets with market intelligence, market research ensuring alignment to RAME’s strategic plans.
- Provide strategic direction, development and implementation of integrated strategies encompassing advertising, promotions, and working in conjunction with Marketing for collateral creation and management.
- Closely collaborate with sales business unit marketing leads to develop programs designed to increase revenue and profitability.
- Directly lead the Product (ABL, TC, Service, AQURE) and Inside Sales teams, targeting to achieve functional key performance indicators. Managing a team of -6 direct reports.
- Run company communications and advertising, sales promotion program and product training in accordance with Marketing, Advertising, Promotional, Sales and Scientific (MAPSS).
- Lead local MAPSS training/education, and compliance.
- Manages resources and budget for all programs with proactive communication and problem-solving.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent. MBA preferred
- 10+ Years Marketing Management Experience, Medical device field; sales, laboratory & immunoassay experience preferred
- Experience setting multi-year upstream Marketing strategy, being responsible for execution of downstream activities
- Experience launching new products
