It’s like running your own ad agency inside of a bigger agency. This position is ideal for experienced marketing professionals that are interested in the autonomy and variety of creating, executing and managing marketing plans for a small group of clients. The ideal candidate will excel at project management and content marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client marketing projects to meet deliverables and deadlines
- Develop and present article topics, messaging and marketing strategy to clients
- Research, write and edit content aimed at B2B audiences including press releases, blogs, webpages and e-books
- Review and revise all written materials for accuracy and quality including spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax
- Manage social media accounts
- Conduct SEO research and analysis
- Create and send email newsletters
- Post website content in WordPress CMS
- Provide reporting and strategic analysis for executed marketing campaigns
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
- A minimum of five years of solid writing and editing experience, preferably with technology topics
- A minimum of five years of marketing experience with a proven track record of managing
- clients/contractors, projects and budgets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with clients
- Strong proofreading skills with the utmost attention to detail
- Strong project management, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
