Description:
General Overview: The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in executing all marketing-related functions for Sunda Nashville. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including grassroots marketing, graphic design and branding, market research, event marketing, intern support, and more. The position requires a creative, detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Marketing & Partnerships:
- Assist in the research, development, and execution of marketing-related events, brand partnerships, and public relations across all brands/venues.
- Participate in the staffing and on-site support of events.
- Grassroots Marketing:
- Develop and manage the grassroots marketing program, including creating SOPs, conducting market research, and refining strategies based on team feedback.
- Develop and maintain annual calendar of events in respective markets for brands to consider participation in
- Creative Development:
- Contribute to the creation of new marketing-related events and initiatives.
- Work with graphic designers and digital media teams to bring marketing concepts to life, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards.
- Assist in photoshoots and content creation by organizing shot lists, run-of-show, inspiration decks, and staffing shoots to ensure schedules and objectives are met.
- Calendar Management:
- Maintain and distribute annual marketing and event calendars, ensuring all initiatives are on track.
- Liaison & Communication:
- Serve as the point of contact between external partners, clients, sponsors, and internal teams (marketing, operations).
- Manage correspondences, event agreements, project schedules, meetings, and performance recaps.
- Project Management:
- Oversee marketing functions to ensure all promotions and campaigns stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
- Team Meetings & Internal Awareness:
- Attend marketing-related meetings as needed and participate in weekly in-person marketing team working sessions.
- Attend venue pre-shifts and weekly meetings to raise internal awareness of brand happenings and gather team support.
- Collateral Management:
- Ensure venues are stocked with brand-approved marketing collateral, replenishing as necessary.
- Business Development:
- Leverage personal contacts or establish new relationships for business development opportunities.
- Social Media & Listings Management:
- Manage community engagement for Sunda's social media accounts.
- Create and maintain third-party listing sites, updating hours of operations, photos, brand bios, web links, and menus.
- Influencer Relations:
- Act as the liaison between PR and store teams for influencer hostings, managing reservations, and tracking posts.
- Internship Program Support:
- Support the internship program by managing day-to-day functions and submitting weekly hours to HR for payroll.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience in marketing, PR, event management.
- Strong presence in the Chicago social and hospitality scene.
- Familiarity with the Nashville, Tampa, and Detroit markets is a plus.
- Awareness of current marketing and PR tactics and initiatives.
- Understanding of local store marketing programs and cross-departmental functions.
