ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops marketing programs and tactics to increase visibility for the organization leading to strong community support and increased blood donations.
  • Creates, develops, and maintains relationships with organizations to organize, host, and support special events and blood drives.
  • Ensures marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals.
  • Works collaboratively with recruitment team members to strategically develop and implement programs for special demographics that lead to growth of first-time blood donors.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy and marketing tactics to reach new and current volunteer blood donors.
  • Facilitates and manages reward and recognition programs.
  • Responsible for oversight of the Thank the Donor Program.
  • Assists with creation of blood recipient and donor stories for marketing purposes.
  • Collaborates with team members on social media and digital marketing.
  • Assists with serving as a media spokesperson and community liaison to propel the visibility of the organization within the communities we serve.
  • Maintains confidentiality of LifeServe Blood Center donor, employee, financial, and proprietary records, and information at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in establishing, building, and maintaining key relationships.
  • Strategic, self-directed, results-oriented individual capable of organizing time, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to foster cooperation between individuals and groups, be courteous with difficult individuals and motivate others.
