Marketing Coordinator

Otak is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join us as the sixth member of the marketing team at our Portland, OR office. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, efficient, highly organized and have a passion for written communication and knowledge of graphic design programs. We foster an environment of professional growth, learning, and opportunity for advancement by pairing the marketing coordinator with the marketing manager and pursuit managers on all projects.

What you'll do:

• Assist Marketing Manager and Pursuit Managers with a wide variety of marketing support tasks.
• Work with the Pursuit Managers to coordinate, develop, write and/or design (selected content), and provide QA/QC and compliance review for SOQ's, proposals, and interviews.
• Identify, research and track project opportunities.
• Coordinate and produce materials for events, conferences, and award submittals.
• Assist with website updates.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an A/E/C firm is highly desired.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
• Knowledge of proposal production and graphic design.
• Proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
