Description:
The marketing department is responsible for promoting our products and services based on a solid understanding of customer needs and our competitive strengths and weaknesses in the marketplace.
The marketing coordinator has overall responsibility for all marketing activities and works closely with our sales and editorial staff and CEO to collaboratively establish and achieve marketing and public relations objectives. The marketing coordinator also works with select customers assisting them in promoting their products and services using the promotional platforms we operate.
As the marketing coordinator, you will:
- Fully understand our product and service offerings and their competitive position in the marketplace
- Ensure we are listening to our customers and understand and respond to their needs
- Develop and maintain all marketing literature, both online and in print
- Plan, execute and measure the impact of marketing campaigns using email, social media and online and print advertising
- Maintain our gaming industry trade show database and oversee trade show and media contra arrangements
- Maintain our web storefront and product catalog
- Act as project manager for our annual Casino Buyer's Guide and iGaming Pocket Directory publications
- Consistently meet deadlines and deliver required content on schedule
- Effectively work and coordinate with other Casino City staff
Job Requirements

- Ability to critically evaluate and compare products and services against marketplace offerings to understand competitive strengths and weaknesses
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Practical experience with email and social media marketing
- A focus on experimentation and measurement to improve results
- Facility for learning new computer software tools
- Ability to productively use tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- BA/BS degree in marketing or equivalent work experience
