Oversees newsletter production and program website adhering to HealthFitness corporate guidelines and standards. Develops artistic marketing materials with program team for the promotion of programs and services.
Coordinates facility advertising including planning, budgeting and execution. Develops annual goals and objectives.
Delivers facility events in collaboration with program team.
Maintains site social media platforms. Positively engages members and participants through various media.
Arranges media interviews and serves as facility representative as needed.
Coordinates the development and manages the implementation of member retention and customer satisfaction programs.
Develops and adheres to annual budget for respective department and provides monthly department reports.
Regularly interacts with members. Assists in tours and member services including phone calls to prospective and cancelled members.
Collaboratively assists at the front desk providing periodic cleaning and towel laundering.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic or Web Design, or related field and 1-2 years of direct experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills when interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders and a customer service focus. Hands on writing skills for press releases, newsletters and web content.
Demonstrated experience developing high-level electronic and multi-media marketing collateral. In-depth knowledge of design software and applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign or Canva.
Proficiency in graphic design, web management and social networking. Demonstrated ability to produce basic video productions.
Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 90 days of hire.
Evidence of experience & ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects.
Ability to prioritize workflow demands and work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
