Description:
`As our Marketing & Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by optimizing sales strategies across our digital and print platforms. This involves managing sales and marketing initiatives such as:
· Advertising on print and digital platforms.
· Partnering with new and existing clients on marketing initiatives that will achieve their organizational goals.
· Increasing brand awareness of our products through social media channels, email platforms, community events, and networking.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of marketing and sales principles in the media industry and provide leadership to their peers.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand customer base with an established territory.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Generate leads through various channels, including warm calling, referrals, and networking events
- Present product/service offerings to potential clients, highlighting key features and benefits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of sales initiatives
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement
```Experience```
- Proven experience in media sales, business development, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Knowledge of technical sales processes and ability to understand complex products/services such as digital marketing.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and secure contracts
- Proficiency in managing regular customer interactions
- Experience with warm calling techniques and generating leads through various channels
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team
