Description:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Recommend, develop, and storyboard marketing campaigns following established brand guidelines.
Coordinate with licensees, agents, and external international marketing agencies and review licensee marketing content for accuracy including across multiple languages.
Collaborate with internal museum stakeholders including, Marketing, Audience Development, Merchandising, and Rights & Permissions on marketing content, strategy and deployment.
Propose, prepare, and monitor social media content to grow following and engagement.
Coordinate licensing events with internal and external stakeholders. Prepare documentation and guidelines for events.
Produce marketing photography and short-form video based on developed content briefs.
Develop, implement and coordinate onsite photoshoots with Licensees.
Coordinate complex schedules with both internal and external stakeholders on use of gallery space, contracts, and photo releases.
Update marketing copy across platforms and develop a reference archive of historical marketing campaigns.
Research, analysis, and develop marketing case studies for internal stakeholders.
Attend occasional weekend and/or evening events or photoshoots as needed.
Assist in other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
B.A. or relevant experience required. Communications, art history, marketing, or liberal arts background preferred.
2 years’ general marketing experience
2 years’ experience in media and press relations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative in nature, a pro-active highly motivated self-starter.
Demonstrates a relentless tenacity to deliver.
Detail-oriented, with excellent initiative, execution & follow-through.
Ability to cope well with multiple and changing priorities.
MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT); Adobe Photoshop; Final Cut or another video editing software
