MaryPoppins is a technology startup that is looking to make parenting easier, by connecting parents and childcare experts.
As part of our launch, we are looking for an intern for a very early-stage, consumer app start-up within the healthcare niche.
What you will do:
You will work with the Founding Team members with a focus on go-to-market and business development, growth, marketing strategy, aligned with our goals and vision.
- Create PR and communications campaign
- Write Press Releases and ensure publication across several outlets in the U.S
- Partner with brands and vendors
- Support our content , solidify our brand identity, and the brand gatekeeper
- Find new partnerships, both large and small, with a focus on growing the customer base
- Create and execute high-growth marketing campaigns
- Create and maintain the marketing plan, ensuring continual improvement using hard data
- Support the pre-seed funding in partnership with the CEO
- Collaborate with the CTO in product development and management
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Ideal candidate will:
- Must have prior experience in launching a Consumer app product, specifically from pre-launch to launch with experience in growing consumer-base pre and post launch
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field
- Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
- Recent experience using email marketing software and ad platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Business Suite
- The ability to think deeply about marketing and brand strategy
- A great eye for design and detail
- A passion for a fast-paced and at times unpredictable environment
