Market Development Representative (MDR) II

Live the best of both worlds, work closely with Research and Development in bringing new and innovative products to the market while working closely with our commercial team and producers to promote new products and identify methods to maximize the potential of new hybrids. Be responsible for your own local territory while working collaboratively with a dynamic team that covers all of the major vegetable crops in the Western United States. Spend your time collaborating with local growers and universities to develop trials that demonstrate the genetic gains in new materials. Work with marketing to develop the story based on the data collected and personal experiences with specific hybrids. Collaborate with our commercial organization and external partners to determine the true potential of new vegetable launches while expanding your network. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Market Development Representative (MDR) II, are to:

• Executes and collaborates to continuously improve the strategic plan for their respective territory, aligned with commercial objectives;
• Coordinates and conducts field based applied research across diverse crops to drive product placement and integrated and tailored solutions under local farming conditions;
• Communicates industry and customer needs with other Bayer organizations in R&D, Sales, and Marketing to evaluate and prioritize opportunities for knowledge transfer and demand creation in the territory;
• Works with other MDRs/Sales/Marketing to gain experience to fill knowledge gaps within our portfolio;
• Communicates actionable insights from applied research that are based upon sound data analysis using appropriate and scientifically rigorous methods;
• Provides timely completion of projects, ensures data integrity/analysis and communicates results to key partners;
• Proactively participates in professional crop organizations and seed associations to build relationships and develop insights on relevant industry and market trends.
