The role
You will conduct and manage relevant activities, providing advice and alternative solutions for service delivery within areas of experience, adhering to budget constraints and contractual requirements within defined Marine and Offshore KPI’s.
Meanwhile, you will pursue continuous professional development to remain fully knowledgeable about the technical considerations that are pertinent to clients, and merge that with a deep understanding of classification society rules, offshore regulations and relevant international standards.
What you bring
Experience working as a marine and offshore surveyor
Significant technical competence /experience for existing ship hull, machinery and electro-technical, statutory, passenger vessels, tankers, bulk carriers and cargo ships
Fluency in English language (verbal and written) is preferred
Competence/experience in Marine Management System audits would be essential to be successful in this role
The ability to travel throughout the region
A degree or equivalent within a relevant field of engineering study
Thorough understanding of the local marine and offshore environment
Organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
Intermediate or advanced experience using MS Office suite of products: Word, Excel, Outlook.
