Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Manufacturing Quality Engineer, OEM Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the quality standards for key compute, network, and storage suppliers.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Edge, Network, & Data Center teams to reinforce quality standards and to improve the end-to-end process.
• Apply appropriate Quality Engineering tools and Methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, FMEA, RCA, FA) to support innovation and continuous improvement.
• Carry out supplier audits of manufacturing facilities, identify gaps, and drive action planning and resolution.
• Work with product lifecycle tools to create BOMs, lead product change notifications, approve engineering change notifications, and drive quality excursions.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to determine Meta’s infrastructure needs and product specifications during NPI phase of OEM products.
• Partner with analytics team to develop supplier dashboards supporting product operations and encompassing quality, performance, and optimization.
• 10% International travel is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years' experience in product development, manufacturing processes, and test/debug methodologies for compute products.
• Detailed knowledge of server hardware architecture and technologies.
• Demonstrated use of quality tools and methodologies in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment.
• Problem solving and communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic global environment.
