Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Description:

• Analyze current operations, tools, and work instructions.
• Maintain the current operation flow and methods defined by the Manufacturing Engineers.
• Build carts, racks and fixtures to support the operation and improve safety and ergonomics.
• Review current state of the operation and bring improvement ideas.
• Read 3D models and work in excel to perform operation analysis.
   

Qualifications
 

• Associate or Bachelor’s required. MBA preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• 1-3 years of work experience
• Experience in the Switchgear manufacturing operation.
• Technical degree preferred.
• 2 years of switchgear or busbar experience.
• Experience working with hand tools.
• Proactivity.
• Geometrical dimensions and tolerances knowledge.
• Must have experience working in mechanical and/or electrical processes.
• Proficiency to do problem solving and root cause analysis.
