Manufacturing Engineer

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity. The Safety Engineer position is a cross-functional role that is responsible for assessing various safety aspects to ensure plant teams have optimal and safe working conditions. This role utilizes general engineering knowledge and work practice expertise to properly mitigate workplace accidents and clarify workplace safety plans. The Safety Engineer partners with various plant leadership members to assess, implement, and continuously improve safety measures

Required Skills:

• Expert in continuous improvement, machine design, and machine controls
• CSP Degree would be a great plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to conduct clear and concise presentations.
• Ability to develop plans for accomplishing assigned work and set priorities with a proper sense of urgency.
• Advanced problem-solving skills; ability to locate and use appropriate company resources.
• Strong group facilitation skills.
