As our Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be an expert in various facets of production and manufacturing, including process design, ergonomics, capacity analysis, simulation tools, investment strategies, and cost analysis. Your comprehensive knowledge will be instrumental in streamlining our manufacturing processes.

Assess the feasibility and profitability of investments tailored to our manufacturing needs. Your financial insights will guide us in making sound investment decisions.
Key activities:
• Conduct Work Measurement/Method Studies against new and existing tasks to establish time estimates, measure operator performance and ensure that the most effective Manufacturing and Assembly techniques are adopted. Log all lost time issues and create action plan for root cause. Identification of the lost (red) times.
• Compile comprehensive product assembly and manufacturing manuals with clear and concise instruction/visual aids, to ensure assembly personnel can elicit accurate parts information or assembly detail.
• Develop significant Capex proposals and successfully project manage the implementation for any projects/plant/ tooling, etc., which may be required to improve the efficiency, or reduce the costs of manufacture/assembly processes ensuring that health and safety regulations are accounted for.
• Support/facilitate kaizen blitz improvement and provide advice, components/parts, external information, PC training, financial assistance /justifications and presentation packages to ensure the entity operates as effectively as possible.
• Assist with the day to day SIM issues supporting the department ensuring that, with the departmental manager, resources are best deployed to suit the priorities of the business. Implement and promote “I see I do” philosophy.
• Manage significant cost reduction /process improvement projects.
• Qualify means and processes, in plant but also at suppliers location.
• Collaborate with SERE in all actions related to Ergonomics/Safety (risk assessments, diagnoses, action plans).
• Be able to boost the digital transformation implementing and being the Key User of one or more manufacturing digital tools (IoT, AGV, AR, Cobot, etc.).
