Responsibilities:

  • Lead engagement and relationship development with current and new customers positioning CAES as a trusted partner
  • Accountability for forecasting, identification, qualification, and capture of new business order book
  • Mentor business development and sales team
  • Partner with VP, Strategy & BD and IDS PMO leadership to define and shape customer growth strategies
  • Manage organizational budget including bid & proposal, travel, and tradeshow/conference attendance
  • Drive continuous improvement in standardization and efficiency of the business development and capture processes
  • Lead and mentor capture and proposal teams associated with high value new program pursuits, including win/price strategy and capture execution, proposal management when required, and ensure compliant, competitive, and compelling offers are submitted.
  • Drive the forecasts process and champion the use of Customer Relationship Management tools to evaluate pipeline health and resource allocation for year-on-year growth across key financial metrics.
  • Interface with key consultants, representatives and re-sellers to ensure business objectives are met.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
  • 6+ years of work experience with background in business development and/or operations of RF and microwave microelectronics component systems in defense end-markets focused on radar, electronic warfare, and communications end-markets.
  • Must be able to obtain and/or maintain up to a Top-Secret Security Clearance
