Responsibilities:
 

  • Lead and manage AI and ML operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers and UI developers to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and solutions.
  • Manage and evaluate the performance of AI/ML systems, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and best practices for AI/ML workflows.
  • Lead project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of AI/ML initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business partners to ensure understanding of project scope and requirements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies in AI/ML to drive innovation.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the AI/ML operations team.

     

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
 

  • Proven experience of leading highly effective teams, fostering teamwork and driving performance within the AI/ML operations environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex CI/CD pipelines, governing the ML models, version tracking, maintaining data lineage and applying best practices
  • Responsible for developing and managing the overall AI/ML lifecycle from development to deployment, including model monitoring in cloud and/or on-prem environments, for large scale and available systems
  • Ensure the ML models, the associated platform, and the data pipelines run seamlessly, efficiently, reliably and at scale
  • Solid understanding of AI and ML concepts, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) for AI/ML deployment and scaling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., Pyspark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with data management and analysis tools, including SQL and data visualization software.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Exceptional communication and social skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and partners.

     

Education:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Science, engineering or a related field.

  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • Certified Artificial Intelligence Practitioner (CAIP) (Preferred)
  • AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty (Preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
