Over the past couple of years, McDonald’s Corporate Strategy function has guided and supported growth-oriented priorities across the Globe. This includes the update of our growth strategy (“Accelerating the Arches”), as well as building new business development capabilities.
 

The Manager, Corporate Strategy role contributes to these priorities by leading selected strategic projects to support our new, long term strategy, guiding strategic planning for the functions / markets, and supporting communication with the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic planning – targeted support of markets and functions during our short and long term strategic planning process.
• Enterprise Initiatives, strategic support – partner with functions and markets to support key enterprise initiatives
• Content leadership - provide support in preparing materials for Sr Leadership team and Board meetings
• Trend analysis – support analysis behind creation of a more robust view on overall macro trends (e.g., automation, urbanization)
   

Qualifications
 

• 3+ years essential experience in strategy, finance, marketing, or insights (Big 4 Consulting experience ideal)
• Prior experience working with local-global organizations, either in market or corporate roles
• Excellent project management capabilities and ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous projects
• Collaboration and communication skills – a stand-out colleague who can form relationships across markets and functions
• Strong analytical and presentation development capabilities
• Comfort with ambiguity
