Description:
The Manager, Business Training and Development, supports the Global Functions teams within the Global Business Solutions org. This role will lead a team of learning professionals focused on providing best -in- class learning experiences.
Global Functions are global teams responsible for partnership and support of regional sales teams. These businesses include: Marketing, Marketing Science, Strategy, Agency and Accounts and Gaming.
The Manager, Business Training and Development - Global Functions reports to the Global Head of Business Training & Development for Global Business Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the GBS culture of learning through implementation of professional development and functional skills training programs
- Establish strong partnership with Global Functions business leadership, gaining understanding of business priorities, challenges and opportunities
- Lead a team of learning professionals supporting development and delivery of education programs to drive team performance
- Own training team development including headcount planning, hiring, and growth
- Create and maintain reporting for impact measurement via training program data collection and analysis ( e.g surveys, assessments, certification, etc.)
- Support other learning projects as needed
- Drive collaborative partnerships with broader Global Business Training team, delivering on global training priorities as needed
- Support team off-sites, summits and org -wide events as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years managing training teams
- Experience working on global team
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to gain influence and buy -in for ideas
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with cross-functional teams while being flexible and responsive to dynamic situations and changing priorities.
- Passion for learning and people development
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Experience developing training materials (e.g. presentations, videos, guides, etc.)
- Entrepreneurial, persistent, and resourceful, with the ability to learn quickly
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
- Highly collaborative spirit
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- A can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
Nice-to have's:
- 3+ years experience in digital advertising industry (preferred)
- Experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems
- Proficiency with course authoring and content delivery tools and usage-tracking systems. Knowledge of the following development tools: Articulate 360 suite, Camtasia, Captivate.
