Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact with third-party auditors, tax equity partners, and lenders, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation.

Conduct financial statement audits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

Oversee portfolio-level financial statement reviews, including footnote disclosures.

Analyze financial trends and provide explanations for internal management reporting.

Manage a small team of up to three senior accountants, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Update equity partners and investment lenders on financial statements.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience working within hedge funds, capital investments, or renewable energy (renewable energy experience is a plus but not required).

CPA certification is required, demonstrating your expertise in accounting principles.

Public accounting experience is a must, with preference given to candidates with Big 4 or large regional firm experience.

Strong technical accounting background, with working knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 805, ASC 842, and ASC 810.
