Description:
Position is responsible for the strategic planning and development of global education programs to drive sales results across all channels of distribution. Works with entire Education team and collaborates closely with cross-functional Global Teams and Regions on development of and project management for all programs. Drives education innovation and meet brand objectives by activating our consultants in the field and delivering Education programs that convey product knowledge, service and selling skills, demonstration, and techniques. Responsible for overseeing key Global Education projects such as new product launch, service, retail, e-learning, etc. Lead and manage the ongoing evolution of innovation in our digital learning platform and education programs for Guides and Generic Staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Innovate, conceptualize, and develop education programs, workshops and tools to drive results globally
- Lead new product launch education projects, work closely with cross-functional teams to create in-depth training materials, product fact sheets, videos, and eLearning modules to maximize Guide’s and Generic Staff’s ability to convey our unique product stories with the goal of driving traffic, retention, and brand engagement.
- Work with Marketing, Global Online, Global Creative and Regions to develop Omni strategies to engage and retain our customers globally.
- Management and Development of strategic global education programs to elevate retail and product expertise throughout the brand, functions and field resulting in increased productivity across all channels.
- Develop sales education tools and services to enhance customer experience both online and offline.
- Develop and deploy all Global Education initiatives with a strong focus on Omnichannel.
- Bring to life the Origins training approach; guide markets and regions on how to execute.
- Research information relevant to key strategic brand initiatives in order to develop the most relevant Education tools and programs.
Lead the maintenance and Development of all Digital Education Tools and Platforms
- Lead the support, maintenance and reporting of all digital learning platforms, reinforcing our brand storytelling, in-store experience expectations, and brand values.
- Lead e-learning site management and new content upload.
- Work with corporate teams and vendors to optimize site features.
- Act as the primary point person and work with regions to support local site launch and management.
- Manage all site admin maintenance and support – manager users, helpdesk issues, site, and content translations.
- Drive strong user engagement.
- Track, report and evaluate site engagement and make suggestions for improvement.
Drive education strategy, support consistent delivery of education initiatives globally
- Create rich educational tools and content to support key hero franchises and launches as well as evergreen brand support with a strong focus on digital education.
- Use blended-learning approach to produce multi-media training tools with a strong focus on video creation.
- Content development for brand & creation training purposes (new launches, existing
lifestyle elements, etc.).
- Lead service/ritual development, Guide feedback program, Guides as Influencers/Content Creator program.
- Identify future Education needs on an ongoing basis and develop strategies and organizational structures to successfully meet those needs.
- Serve as an expert in product knowledge, skin physiology, brand values, sustainability, etc.
- Initiate and lead accreditation projects such as selling workshops, retail experience, Youcam, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Education, or related fields.
- Must have at least 5+ years of related experience.
- Management / supervisory experience.
- Must have strong knowledge in adult learning and training.
- Superior ability to manage projects from conception to execution.
- Strong ability to think strategically and to conceptualize and implement new ideas that drive sales results to a diverse audience.
- Strong leadership skills to lead and develop all direct reports.
- Extensive experience in digital learning development, familiar with LMS.
- Strong analytical skills and detail orientation required to manage highly complex projects.
- Ability to think in an omni-channel environment across retail channels, including all Online channels, free-standing stores, department stores, salons and specialty-multi locations.
- Extensive training and public speaking experience including classroom or workshop courses for retail division or product manufacturer.
- Demonstrated proficiency in learner-centered training methodology.
- An entrepreneurial spirit including the ability to make decisions as if the business were one’s own.
- Strong PPT, Word, and Excel skills.
