Mainframe Security Architect

Responsibilities:

Design and implement security solutions for IBM Z mainframe systems using the IBM Z Secure Suite.

Assess current security measures and recommend improvements.

Develop and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with banking industry standards.

Collaborate with various teams to integrate security solutions effectively.

Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security professionals.

Stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.

Requirements:

Proven track record (10-20 years) in mainframe security architecture, specifically with the IBM Z Secure Suite.

Deep understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization standards.

Experience implementing security solutions in the banking or financial services sector.

Design and implement security solutions for IBM mainframe systems utilizing RACF security and using the IBM Z Secure Suite.

Utilizing SailPoint for identity management and role based access control (RBAC)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or IBM Certified System Programmer (Z/OS Security Server).
