TEMPORARY LECTURERS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ART (POOL): The Department of Art, College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences at California State University, Stanislaus is seeking applications for a pool of part-time lecturers. Positions are available as determined by need and funding during Fall, and Spring semesters. An eligibility roster of qualified part-time faculty is being established to teach courses for potential future needs in the following Foundation Level studio courses in sculpture, drawing, painting, digital, printmaking, and art history.

This is an ONGOING recruitment. We accept part-time faculty applications all year long; when the department or division has a need to fill, they refer to the “pool” of part-time faculty applications on file.
NEED IS ASSESSED ON A TERM TO TERM BASIS. NEED IS DETERMINED JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM, SO APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants are required to possess an MFA in visual arts such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, video and time-based media, and or graphic design, or a PhD in Art History.
