Description:
This position is responsible for creating successful visual presentations, graphics and media that will communicate and appeal to a wide array of audiences. This role will work closely with Marketing Manager and other members of the Sales Team, Operations and/or other departments to organize various levels of complex information in simple ways to tell the North Star Leasing story. This role requires a self-motivated designer who’s collaborative, creative and passionate about the success of our clients. The designer should be familiar with evolving best practices across digital and traditional marketing channels and able to develop visual presentations that balance business objectives with great storytelling.
Job Duties
Specific responsibilities for this position will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Conceptualize and create print and digital marketing materials from scratch based on business intent. Oversee process from ideation and concept development through completion of final art file sent to printer or digital advertiser.
- Independently create marketing materials that effectively communicates business intent and are on-brand.
- Must stay up to date on the latest digital market trends and techniques and strategically apply to North Star Leasing’s marketing and communications vision.
- Must multi-task and prioritize time sensitive issues and deliver high quality work on schedule, including quickly turning around concepts and designs (which may include last minute create direction changes and multiple rounds of edits) to meet required deadlines.
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaign collateral.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns
- Will perform special projects as assigned.
Education, Experience and Job Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent relevant work experience in a marketing, branding or agency environment.
- Portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of work representing multiple visual approaches, techniques, target audiences and content types.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Communicates well and listens to client and stakeholder needs to make the project successful.
- Exhibits incredible attention to detail and ability to apply critical thinking in decision making and problem solving.
- Exceptional written communication.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Basic Qualifications:
