Description:
Capital One is looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Lead to design, implement, and evaluate Workforce Development training programs. The role focuses on enhancing skills and career readiness for individuals from diverse backgrounds. The L&D Lead will partner with stakeholders to create effective instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning experiences.
Training & Development:
✔️ Design and deliver engaging L&D experiences (virtual, in-person, and self-paced)
✔️ Assess training effectiveness using feedback and program data
✔️ Stay updated on learning trends and best practices
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
✔️ Identify skill gaps and training priorities with program managers
✔️ Present progress updates, needs, and results to senior leaders and business partners
✔️ Facilitate impactful discussions and training sessions with diverse audiences
Process Improvement & Problem-Solving:
✔️ Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and evolving business needs
✔️ Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects independently
✔️ Provide strategic recommendations for workforce development initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
📌 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
📌 Minimum 2 years of experience in Training Design, Development Delivery, or Client Consulting
📌 At least 1 year of experience in Project or Program Management
Preferred Qualifications:
✅ 3+ years of experience in Training Design & Development Delivery
✅ 3+ years of experience in Client Consulting
✅ 2+ years of experience in Project Management
📌 Hybrid Work Model: Work 3+ days per week in-office (Monday - Thursday), Friday is virtual
