Lead Business Development Specialist

 

Description:

The Lead Business Development Specialist works closely with the executive, administrative and operational leadership within Sanford in a variety of areas. This position is responsible for analyzing current performance of programs and identify opportunities for program growth, development, or new service expansion. Will analyze available healthcare market data to identify trends in care provision and emerging trends in healthcare strategy and service offerings then coordinate relevant data and analysis for care providers and executives in order to aid in strategic planning and program development sessions. Position will support entirety of strategic planning process an reporting on performance as plan is implemented.

This position will be responsible to use industry and market data data to educate and work with operational leaders to understand trends and identify new opportunities as strategically aligned with the annual enterprise and division strategic plans. Will work with leaders at all levels, as well as health care providers, to solve complex problems, articulate desired program models, and outline business cases to support the overarching strategic plan.

Position is eligible to work from home up to 2 day per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required and field of study can vary depending on area. Degree emphasis can include but is not limited to, business management, accounting, finance, healthcare administration or laboratory science. Advanced degree in business, marketing, education or related field preferred.

Five years experience required.
