Lead Ab Initio Developer

Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Team Lead with extensive expertise in Ab Initio, particularly the CAIP component, and strong knowledge of AWS migration processes. The ideal candidate will lead the technical team responsible for upgrading Ab Initio from version 3.0 to 4.1 and migrating our on-premises infrastructure to AWS. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of both projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 7 years of IT Experience in Ab Initio
• Lead the upgrade of Ab Initio from version 3.0 to 4.1, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
• Drive the migration of on-premises systems to AWS, aligning with cloud architecture best practices.
• Oversee and manage the Ab Initio CAIP component, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, ensuring high standards of code quality and project delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and refine project requirements and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with data security standards, particularly in the AWS environment.
• Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
