Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation):
Assist with invasive plant management and eradication using a variety of tools.
Assist in the management of native plant communities.
Assist with the mapping of invasive plant populations and rare plant species and communities.
Perform data collection and data entry.
Analyze GPS and aerial drone mapping surveys and incorporate into GIS maps to prioritize treatment of invasive plant populations.
Assist in plant identification using taxonomic field guides.
Assist with on-site coordination of contractors and local partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma OR GED and 6 months of related experience.
Experience operating various types of equipment in a safe and efficient manner (e.g., hand tools, backpack sprayers).
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
