Full-time position available with the City Planning & Development Department, Land Development Division located at 414 East 12th Street
Salary Range: $5,173-$7,759/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., *telework available 1 day per week after completion of 6 month probationary period

Responsibilities

  • Performs reviews of public infrastructure, site disturbances, storm water studies, and building plans to assure design stage conformance with City standards and codes.
  • Coordinates with developers, engineers, contractors, and other City departments to achieve general compliance status for public and private development projects.
  • Utilizes computer software programs to record and track information pertinent to plan review projects for which the individual has responsibility.
  • Responsible for on-time performance and accuracy of own work.

Qualifications

 

REQUIRES an ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in any professionally recognized architectural/engineering discipline as required by the hiring authority. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City. Preference given for an accredited bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
