The L'Oréal USA 12-Month Junior Marketing Associate (JMA) internship program allows creative visionaries and strategic thinkers to enhance their marketing knowledge in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. The JMA program is paid internship opportunity for candidates who have graduated with a degree within the last 12 months and are able to work 40 hours per week.
We are looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to join the NYX Global Marketing Team in the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal USA. This position will be part of the Digital Marketing function with the goal of creating best in class digital activations and content enabling our products to stand out in the competitive e-commerce landscape.
Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Content
- Support the team by cataloguing, organizing and ordering product ahead of e-commerce photography shoots
- Conduct gap analyses for historical product catalog and determine opportunities for content optimizations or refreshes
- Conduct competitor landscape reviews, identifying best in class e-commerce assets by product category
- Attend e-commerce shoots and support with production needs as required
- Work with external agencies to ensure Digital Asset Management solution (OPERA) is well optimized with all e-commerce content easily accessible for markets and zones
- Support the Digital Director by compiling content and working in Powerpoint to produce e-commerce dossiers
- Create and execute model contracts in Ironclad and talent agreements in Fadel to ensure proper rights management at all times
Digital Activation
- Build reports on global digital performance including SEO, E-Commerce Sell out and Page Speed along and other digital KPI’s
- Create quarterly best practice newsletter focusing on successful market activations that can be shared and scaled globally
- Own market & zone communication on new features and initiatives from Digital team
- Working closely with the Digital Director create brand specific digital activation playbooks based on L’OREAL Groupe guidance
- Support with e-commerce merchandising by creating briefing documents for partner agency working on global master website
- Audit global websites to ensure excellence in execution and global alignment for key priorities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; must have graduated within the past 12 months
- Must provide valid work authorization in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written, analytical and communication skills
- Solid understanding of data management and ability to use Excel to organize data, create reports, and deliver meaningful insights and recommendations
