It Support Technician

 

Description:

HCL Technologies is seeking a skilled IMACD Technician to support installations, moves, additions, changes, and disposal of IT hardware and software at designated customer sites. The ideal candidate must have experience troubleshooting and resolving end-user IT issues related to PCs, tablets, printers, mobile phones, and video conferencing devices.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for end-users on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones
✔ Provide and oversee installations, de-installations, moves, and changes for hardware and software
✔ Coordinate and schedule IMACD tasks with IT functions and third-party vendors
✔ Ensure minimal operational disruptions while executing IMACD services
✔ Validate service requests, obtain approvals, and ensure proper authorization for all IMACD tasks
✔ Conduct site surveys to assess location requirements for IT installations
✔ Confirm availability of all necessary equipment, network, cabling, and software for execution
✔ Ensure proper backup, contingency, and test procedures before installations
✔ Provide a high level of customer service and treat every client like a VIP
✔ Cancel Network Transport Services when they are no longer required

Required Skills & Certifications:

📌 Minimum 3 years of experience in IMACD tasks
📌 Certifications (Preferred): A+ Hardware, Microsoft, ITIL, CCNA
📌 Hardware Support: Desktop PCs, Laptops, Tablets (Windows, Apple, Android), Network & Desk Printers, Smart Phones, Desk Phones, and Video Conference Devices
📌 Software Tools: Windows OS, MS Office, O365, Mac OS (Preferred)
📌 Ticketing System Expertise: ServiceNow (IM, SRM, AMDB, CMDB, Knowledge Management)
📌 Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
