Description:

Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

• Software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s)

• Engaged in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting and implementing software, responding to outages

• Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensure these risks are effectively identified and escalated to be measured, monitored, and controlled

• Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities

• Design, develop, code, and test significant technical solutions collaborating with other engineers

• Independently resolves complex production issues and leads troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions that span multiple applications and systems

Duties:

• Code for the client's mobile application using Swift for the iOS version and Kotlin for the Android version as well as our API services.

• A great candidate will be full stack, familiar with all three development platforms, but at least should be proficient in one language for hire. Candidates will be expected to become full stack, developing for both mobile platforms and APIs.

• We also pair program, So the candidate must be willing to work alongside another engineer as an open and active member of a pair.

Required:

• We require contract employees to be fully engaged with the team, and not act as silent partners. This includes pairing. We require them to communicate. Our interview process will help bring that out, but please try to identify the ones who will not be willing to communicate and share their thoughts.
