What You’ll Do
As a member of our Treasury Services team, you will play an integral role to the continued success of our team by:
- Completing the accounting, processing, and reconciliations for various integrated systems for investments and banking
- Validating daily trading wires and pricing processes
- Preparing reports and analysis and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders related to our investments and treasury operations
- Providing primary support to internal and external auditors for several key annual controls and financial audits
- Developing strong relationships with our internal stakeholders and collaborates with them on special projects with financial systems, forecasting, investments, 401k, and life
- Recommending, implementing, and testing enhancements to automate processes and improve data quality, including Sentry’s migration to its new general ledger
- Assisting with support, maintenance, upgrades, and enhancement of our Treasury systems for investment accounting banking, and payments
What it Takes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA, or ability to sit for CPA exam desirable
- 0-5 years experience, competitive compensation based on experience
- Work with a high level of independence and exercise sound decision making
- Proven ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines with a high degree of personal initiative and self-motivation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills or willingness to learn advanced Excel skills Knowledge of or desire to learn investments, banking, and insurance
